haiti: 2013-2019 returninG 2022
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with a population of 11.4 million. Haiti became the first independent black country in the world. The average Haitian family lives on less than $3 US dollars a day. Roughly 60% of the population lives below the poverty line. 4.1 million are in a food insecurity crisis. The native language is Haitian Kreyol, however, the more educated speak French. Our family is dedicated to serving the people of Haiti, a place we feel at home.
barranquilla, colombia 2018. returning jan. 2021
Jen joined a group of young Pastors serving the people of Barranquilla Colombia. This is the trip where the Lord spoke to Jen about being a missionary. She spoke in a prison, at schools, at churches, and in neighborhoods about the love of Christ.
Our family spent the month of January 2021 serving the community of Barranquilla. We remodeled 3 children's classrooms & spoke at many church services (15 total). Colombia has changed our lives for the better!

turks and caicos 2019
Jen joined a group of young Pastors and served Haitian communities in Turks and Caicos for Spring Break in 2019. While there they slept on a boat and worked in some of the roughest areas of the island during the days.
