At pure missions, we strive to change the worlds idea of evangelism. our number one goal is to share the gospel of jesus christ, but we don't believe you have to judge or condemn people to achieve that. Jesus is fun, loving, encouraging, open and challenging (and so much more). we believe that by modeling his characteristics, we can change lives!

jen and sabrina met in 2013 as part of a group of short-term missionaries going to Haiti. during that trip, they became the best of friends. since then, they have returned multiple times to the country that stole their hearts.
in 2018, god began speaking to them about connecting back with their love of Haiti. they created pure missions as an opportunity to shift the world's idea of evangelism; HOWEVER, THEY WERE NOT SURE WHAT THAT LOOKED LIKE.
Since 2018, jen's family has jumped on board for the journey OF BECOMING full time missionaries. Currently haiti is experiencing political unrest and resource shortages that led to our decision to remain in the states. it is always our intention and desire to help without hurting, so we are only but delayed in our calling to haiti. we look forward to healing and restoration in the land that we love so much! IN THE MEANTIME, WE HAVE BEGUN WORKING WITH PASTORS IN COLOMBIA.
Jen
Jen is a West Virginian at heart. She loves jumping in to help a neighbor, and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty! She's mom to "The girls", a bonus mom to 2 more, and married to her best friend, Brett! She graduated with her degree in Psychology in Military Resilience in March 2020. She is also certified in trauma resilience. She loves all types of shenanigans, having fun, and drawing doodles. She's known for randomly singing song lyrics out of nowhere.
Brett
Brett was born and raised an Okie! He is a retired, US Army military officer. He's the father of 2 amazing kids, and bonus daddy to "the girls". Brett married Jen in 2014, and she has been keeping him on his toes ever since. (I'm sure he loves every minute) Brett is a mentor to many, a friend to more, and loves America! You will know when Brett is around because he might be the one singing, dancing, and doing his best to make sure everyone is having a good time. (except for his kids, who find this embarrassing)
The Girls
Rya (middle), 16, is a sophmore in High School. She is all about making funny videos, and forcing her mom to be taught random dances.
Marli (left), 13, is an 8th grader. She is funny, and loves all the girly things like: glitter, dressing up, and dancing.
Azlin (right), 12, is in 7th grade. She loves NASA and researching "weird" facts. She also loves watching silly videos and singing.
